Shoe Lasts

My first sight of these lovely old lasts was whilst they were still covered with years of grime.
Much scrubbing and polishing later revealed the usual time worn marks but also beautiful graphics and irresistably tactile honey coloured wood.
A lovely collecter's piece but with a simple piece of wooden dowel would also make a great kitchen or loo roll holder.
Mounted on the wall as an even more unusual hook.
