These fabulous original 50’s tea tins were used for tea samples from North India, Malawi & Bangladesh to sell tea to one of the major blenders. A small amount was retained for a year in case of any quality claim by a buyer. After the year had elapsed and the new season begun, the old samples would be distributed or sold to staff. Now we can bring another new lease of life to these character filled globe travellers! They look great stacked up in a study keeping all your bits and pieces tidy or gathered as a display piece on your bookshelf. Why not use them for what they were originally intended and have them in the kitchen to store your tea and coffee – the possibilities are endless!
